About The Movement Project

We are a volunteer organization run by high school dancers dedicated to bringing dance and movement classes to elderly communities including assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and memory care units.

 

Our classes are designed to be adaptable for all mobility levels, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for participants.

Seated Dance

Gentle movements and stretches performed while seated, perfect for those with limited mobility.

Rhythm & Movement

Fun, upbeat classes focusing on coordination and rhythm using simple dance steps.

Strength & Balance

Combines dance movements with exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and balance.
